The Redgate Ensemble is a flexible ensemble directed by Christopher and Celia Redgate which consists of wind players, string players and pianists. The ensemble’s repertoire includes music from the Baroque through to the 21st century. The use of woodwind instruments is central to the ethos of the ensemble. The musicians are drawn from a pool of performers who have careers as soloists, in chamber music, in the recording studio and as orchestral musicians. Two of today’s performers, (Chris and Rachel) are well known to the Buckingham Festival but we are delighted to welcome Mary Dullea who is joining us today.
