Felicia and Claire formed the Lorelei Duo while studying chamber music at Trinity Laban. Through close collaboration, they discovered a shared passion for storytelling through art song, particularly German Lieder. A central and ongoing project of the duo has been an in-depth exploration of Robert Schumann’s Liederkreis, Op. 39, set to poetry by Joseph von Eichendorff. The cycle reflects the Romantic fascination with nature, solitude, and longing.
The Lorelei Duo has been lucky enough to receive coaching from Eugene Asti, Andrew Matthews-Owen, Panaretos Kyriatzidis, and Anna Miell. Both artists are currently working towards their Professional Diploma at Trinity Laban. While Felicia holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Guildhall School of Music, Claire holds a BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford Drama School, as well as a BA in Vocal Performance from the Conservatory of Brooklyn College.
